Bridging the Gap Fund Update

Thanks to your generosity, United Way of Central Maryland has raised $167,469 to support those affected by the recent Francis Scott Key Bridge tragedy. Your contributions to the United Way of Central Maryland’s Bridging the Gap Fund supports efforts in eviction prevention, food access, and other mid- and long-term needs.

Our work with partners and community members continues as we address community needs and evolve our support as circumstances change.

Those affected by this event – or anyone in Maryland – can call our 211 United Way Helpline, which connects callers to critical supportive resources and services. 211 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year in multiple languages.
